The most common ones are Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn. Each one works differently. For example:
- Facebook and Instagram are great for ads with images or short videos. I’ve seen lots of beauty and clothing brands use them.
- TikTok is all about fun, fast videos that catch attention—great for younger audiences.
- YouTube works well if you want to explain more or do tutorials.
- LinkedIn is better for business stuff, like B2B or career coaching.
When I helped a friend sell jewelry, we used Instagram Reels and TikTok to show how she made them. People loved seeing the process, and it brought her sales without needing a website!
